To the congregation, patrons and friends of St Helens Grindleford we are delighted to announce the appointment of our new rector, Canon Carolyn Cooke, who succeeds Paul Moore in our worship in Grindleford, Hathersage and Bamford.

Her official licensing ceremony is at Hathersage Parish Church on Monday, 10 November at 7pm and her first service at Grindleford which she will officiate is Holy Communion on 17 November at 9:30 am. We do encourage you to meet her at either or both of these services. The attached background prepared by Carolyn provides a comprehensive summary of her career and family.  We would love you to meet her in person at either of the above events.

She will also be officiating the Carol Service at St Helens on Sunday 13 December at 6:00 pm and also the Christingle service at 4:00 on Christmas Eve.

Please join us to welcome her and help us to fulfil  her mission.
