Our vicar, the Rev. Dr. Paul Moore, sadly retired at the end of October 2025 due to ill health. We are now in a period of ‘vacancy’ until a new vicar is found for the Grindleford, Hathersage and Bamford parishes.

2 November at 9.30am – Holy Communion kindly led by Rev Graham Pigott

9 November at 10.15am – Remembrance Service kindly led by Tony Hill followed by a laying of wreathes at the War memorial at 11.00am

16 November – No service at St Helen’s – but all are welcome at Hathersage Church at 9.30 for 10.00am

23 November at 9.30am – Holy Communion kindly led by Rev Lisa Price

30 November – No service at St Helen’s but all very welcome at Bamford Church at 11.00am for what will be the last official service of Roger Mather (who is retiring after very many years service as a Reader) and led by Rev Graham Pigott.
