Had an email this morning from a Grindleford Resident and thought it worth sharing!
Hi Matt
As you may know, Grindleford Parish Council has invited people from the community to put forward ideas for new projects in the village. Several families have suggested to me how good it would be if the river could be made more accessible, and in a safe way for children and families.
So I have put forward a project which I have called Grindleford River Beach, which I have sent to Alan Jacques. I have had to do this now, as we are away on holiday from tomorrow and I won’t be able to get to the next PC meeting, when the various projects put forward will be discussed.
Could you therefore please put this on the village website, perhaps with a short covering note inviting anyone who thinks this is a good idea to let Alan Jacques know before the meeting on 12 March.
