Grindleford FC Report

After a good run of form in recent weeks Grindleford FC are going from strength to strength. Having had a rocky start to the season with a lack of players at the club they found things pretty tough in the Hope Valley League A Division. However, they have now turned things around and are heading in the right direction. Not only have they added fresh faces to the dressing room in recent weeks but also have a fresh new strip coming soon. There seems to be a positive vibe around Grindleford FC at the moment as the squads young aspiring athletes have been working together and progressing each week. Our local side are currently 9th in the league – Just two points above the drop zone. But they seem to be slowly move up the table. Having knocked out Bamford FC in round 2 of the Junior Cup the team face a tough test against Rowsley 86 FC Reserves on home soil. Inform striker Tim Rowson said; “We’re all looking forward to cup game against Rowsley 86 FC next weekend. The lads have been working hard in training and there’s a good team moral at the moment. So fingers crossed we can keep the momentum going and take our league form into the cup!”
