Grindleford Climate & Biodiversity Emergency Meeting

Grincleford Parish Councillors very much hope you will be able to attend this meeting.  More details will be posted nearer the time, but please put the date in your diary if you can – this one is important.

The aim of the meeting will be to produce an action plan for the village which will reduce carbon and increase and protect diversity.  There is already so much going on, and various groups will be in attendance for you to talk to about how their work might inspire your own carbon reduction plans.  In addition, the second part of the evening will be looking at what we are not doing yet, and how the Parish Council might be able to support new as well as existing work.

The meeting will be held in the Pavilion, which as you know has two rooms so we can spread out.  If you are able to come along, please let me know sar.bat2@gmaill.com so we can judge numbers and make arrangements for Covid precautions accordingly.  In any event you might want to wear a mask.

There is no doubt that this is serious work at a time of global concern.  Nevertheless, it’s also coming up to Christmas so we’ll be serving wine and beer, and some mince pies to help us along.

We do hope you will able to join us on Tuesday 7th.
