Door To Door Salesmen – Police Notice

Police received a number of calls from vigilant residents in the Bamford, Bradwell, Castleton, Grindleford and Hathersage areas during the afternoon of Monday 21st January, reporting door to door sellers.

One male was checked out by officers in Hathersage. He did have a valid Pedlar’s Certificate.

It appears that this was a group of people who had come to the area to try to sell goods door to door.

Police advise resident to check that callers have Pedlar’s Certificates to enable them to sell goods.
